Scheduled Vehicle Servicing at HAJ Repairs

H.A.J Repairs run an ABC servicing scheme offering 3 servicing schedules:

  1. Minor Vehicle Service

  2. Intermediate Vehicle Service

  3. Major Vehicle Service


Minor Service

A minor vehicle service includes a general vehicle check including:

  1. General safety inspection

  2. Oil filter change

  1. Light bulbs change

  2. Brake testing

Intermediate Service

The intermediate vehicle service includes a more detailed vehicle check to include:

  1. General safety inspection

  2. Wear and tear checks

  3. Oil filter

  1. Lights

  2. Brakes


Major Service

A major vehicle service is equivalent to preparing a vehicle for PSV, MOT or other similar vehicle tests. A major service is a detailed service and all aspects of the vehicle are checked over. Areas checked include:

  1. Handbrake

  2. Clutch

  3. Windscreen, Washers, wipers

  4. Exterior lights

  5. Instrument gauges, warning lights and horn

  6. Heating system

  7. Air conditioning

  8. Seat belts

  9. Air and Oil Filter

  1. Wiring, pipes, hoses, oil and fuel pipes

  2. Engine, vacuum pump and cooling system

  3. Battery

  4. Front and rear wheel bearings

  5. Engine and transmission

  6. Exhaust

  7. Braking system

  8. Tyres including spare wheel

  9. Wheel nuts

On completion of each service, H.A.J Repairs attach a service sticker on the vehicle. This allows the driver to keep a record of the next service.

All work carried out on client vehicles are stored on a database for future reference.
